[She chokes a bit on whatever thought she'd just had, but at the very least, she presses a hand to her eyes before she can get embarrasingly emotional.]

I don't think any of you are, um... idiots. I just... I think there are better uses of our time than just taking it out on each other. I don't think any of us want to be here... so doesn't that mean we share a goal?

I think that's what it means, yeah, it's just that we're all trying to solve it in different ways. And we all think everybody else's way is stupid.

[ She smiles a bit ruefully. ] Hunter said it was kind of like we're all being tested to see what we'll do. Guess we kind of spectacularly failed that test, huh.

[Hmm hmm hmm. Something goes a little dark in her eyes.]

P-perhaps. I guess it really might not a failure if we don't even know what outcome they might be looking for. Maybe they just want to be, um... entertained.

Or maybe there's other reasons they could be testing us.

[ She glances at Luna, though. ] Other reasons, huh? Like what.

Maybe they want to see how long it takes us to figure out our situation, or how long it takes for us to form allied groups.

Or... maybe it's the opposite. Maybe they want us turning on each other, and seeing what it takes for us to betray or hurt one another.
