It happened after midnight. I was answering questions just fine last night.

[he WOKE UP like this, and it sucks??? IT SUCKS]

[Akira folds his arms and leans back in his chair, frowning as he does so. he winces slightly (his back is killing him) but his expression is contemplative]

. . . I've bounced a few theories off of Akechi and a couple of others, but all I have right now is speculation. Ash thought maybe whatever killed Haruka-san was trying to keep Akechi and I from talking about something important.

[shakes his head]

But as far as I can tell, nothing out of the ordinary happened in the billiards room last night. Other than the two of us being suddenly locked inside of it together.

After midnight... [ his voice warps a little as he remembers at the last second to make it a statement and not a question. ] Then you guys would have been asleep. Everybody else fell asleep around then, too. At least, in the library. If you and Akechi passed out at midnight too, that means probably everyone in the mansion had the same experience. All the doors locked at 11, and everyone went to sleep at 12...

But if nothing unusual happened in the billiards room before you guys fell asleep, then there shouldn't be any reason to keep you guys from answering questions. You'd have to know something they didn't want you two telling everyone else.

Lio and I were talking about it, and we both realized that for some reason we woke up today just knowing more about animals. It's tough to put into words, but we just ... knew this stuff, like we'd known it for ages.

Which reminds me... I should tell you about the blood and the fur if no one else has yet.

[ that gets a pause, and Isaac sits up straight. ]

... I haven't talked to everybody, but ... Asch and Beau knew some stuff too. And they were with me in the library last night.

We've gotta talk to everyone. If this is really true, then people who ended up in other rooms should be experiencing some effect too. We need to find out what those effects are.
